The City of Stratford, Ontario, is offering free recreation programs for families during the upcoming March Break from March 16 to March 22, 2026. These activities include daily basketball and video gaming at the Burnside Agriplex to help keep students active while school is out.

Drop-in basketball will be held at the Agriplex, located at 357 McCarthy Road, from Monday, March 16 to Friday, March 20, 2026. These sessions are open to everyone from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. each afternoon.

The NextStrat Esports Lounge on the second floor of the building will also be open for youth during the week. From Monday to Friday, students can access the gaming equipment between 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Mayor Martin Ritsma has previously noted the lounge is a welcoming space for local young people.

A bonus session of family-friendly basketball is scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2026. Family time runs from noon to 1:30 p.m., with open basketball for all ages continuing from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
