Stratford, ON — The Stratford & District Chamber of Commerce has unveiled a three-part January 2025 lineup of training and networking events to help local entrepreneurs sharpen skills and build connections.
On January 7, 2026, the Chamber will host a one-hour online “Sales and Everyday Influence” workshop led by Melissa Maloney, co-founder of AWL Partners. From 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., participants will learn how emotional intelligence drives better sales conversations and stronger customer relationships.
January 21 brings “Empowering Women Who Lead: Getting Past No,” a two-panel session at a Stratford venue. Doors open at 2:00 p.m.; the program runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., as local women entrepreneurs share strategies for resilience and negotiation.
The popular Business After 5 networking returns on January 28 at Shackleton’s Real Estate & Auction Co., 3715 Embro Road. From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (typical Business After 5 hours), Stratford business owners can mingle in a relaxed setting, meet new contacts and explore local services.
