The Stratford Police Services Board is asking residents in Stratford, Ontario, to share their thoughts through a new survey to help shape local policing for the next four years. This feedback will be used to create the 2026-2029 Strategic Plan, which sets the main goals and priorities for the police force.
The survey is part of a legal requirement under the Community Safety and Policing Act. This provincial law requires police boards to create formal plans to ensure they are providing effective services to the public.
The Stratford Police Service covers the City of Stratford, the Town of St. Marys and the Township of Perth South. To keep the process independent, the board has hired a consulting firm called Consilium Public Sector Service to collect the responses.
All answers given in the survey are confidential and anonymous. Residents are encouraged to participate to ensure the police force remains focused on the specific needs and concerns of the local community.
