The Town of Stratford, Prince Edward Island, published its first digital newsletter of 2026 on January 8, 2026, to provide residents with updates on local services and community projects. The update is intended to help the town’s growing population stay informed about municipal decisions and upcoming winter events.

The newsletter includes information on local utilities, including recent wastewater updates and winter supports such as warming centres, and is presented as part of the town’s effort to share information with residents as the community grows (Town of Stratford e-newsletter portal).

Residents can also find summaries of local healthcare resources and notices about social gatherings. The update features news from Our Lady of the Assumption Parish — the parish regularly hosts community events, including monthly Ceilidhs at the parish hall.

Town officials are using the digital format to reach more people quickly, particularly as the community has surpassed 10,000 residents (2021 census: 10,927). More information and regular updates are also shared through the Town of Stratford’s official social media channels (for example, the town’s Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/stratfordpei/).
