Residents of Summerside, Prince Edward Island, are invited to celebrate Latin culture at the second annual Summerside Latin Festival. The free event will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at The Lefurgey Cultural Centre.
Presented by the Latinos Association of PEI, the festival aims to bring the community together for an afternoon of live music, dance performances, and authentic Latin cuisine. This cultural celebration returns to the historic venue on Prince Street following a successful debut last year.
The festival will be hosted at the site operated by Culture Summerside, the department responsible for the city’s arts and heritage programming. The venue itself is a recognized heritage building constructed in 1867. After surviving a fire in 2004, the site was rebuilt and reopened in 2005, serving as a hub for local events.
The cultural momentum continues at the same location the following day. On July 26, 2026, the DiverseCity Festival, organized by the Immigration and Refugee Services Association PEI, will hold its own multicultural event at the centre from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
