Residents in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, have more indoor entertainment options this winter as the city’s tourism branch has launched a series of live music nights for February and March 2026. The initiative provides local musicians with paid performance opportunities while encouraging people to visit downtown businesses during the evening.
According to Explore Summerside, the performances take place every Friday and Saturday night from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The lineup includes several local artists, such as Brad Milligan, Jonny Ray Arsenault, Brian Dunn, Margarita Wayne, and Mat Hannah.
All of the performances are held at Bogside Summerside, a waterfront taproom located at 110 Water St. The venue underwent major renovations in 2025 to transform the space into a year-round hub for community events and live entertainment.
These music nights are running alongside the Winter Warmth culinary series which began on February 1, 2026. By featuring performers like Brad Milligan, who was the 2025 Music PEI Entertainer of the Year, the city hopes to increase nighttime foot traffic for local restaurants and shops.
