The Capitals advanced to this division final after a hard-fought 1-0 victory against the Amherst Ramblers on March 28, 2026. In that series-clinching Game 7, goaltender Kolton Bourret stopped all 25 shots he faced to earn a shutout, while forward Eliott Robert scored the decisive goal with assists from Justin Ouellette and Maverick Hayes.
This upcoming series matches the two top-seeded teams in the division. Both the Capitals and the Bearcats finished the regular season tied with 72 points, but the Capitals earned the top seed by winning more games in regulation time. The Truro Bearcats advanced to this round after defeating the Pictou County Weeks Crushers in five games.
Following the April 2 game in Summerside, the series moves to Truro for the second game on April 4, 2026. The teams will then return to Credit Union Place for Game 3 on April 6, 2026, followed by a fourth game in Truro on April 8, 2026. Additional games will be held if required to decide the series.
