The Swan River RCMP and family members are asking the community for help locating 19-year-old Rhoda Brass, who has been missing since early January in Swan River, Manitoba. Brass was last seen on January 6, 2026, and was officially reported missing to police on January 13, 2026.

Brass, who is from the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation, has not spoken with her family since December 29, 2025. She is described as being five feet, two inches tall with short black hair.

Investigators say she was last seen with a friend at a shack-like structure that has since burned down. Because of the fire and the length of time she has been gone, both the Swan River RCMP and her family are very concerned for her safety.

Anyone who has seen her or knows where she might be is encouraged to call the Swan River RCMP at 204-734-3454. You can also provide information without giving your name by contacting Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or by submitting a secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
