Women in Swan River, Manitoba, are invited to a community gathering called “Flourish” on January 31, 2026. The event aims to help women in the area meet their neighbours and find new ways to grow personally and professionally within the Swan River Valley.

The morning will begin with a continental breakfast at the Solid Rock Church, located at 221 Main Street (Solid Rock Church contact: 221 Main St, Box 1239, Swan River, MB R0L 1Z0). Following the meal, participants will take part in sessions and workshops designed to provide low-cost social support and networking opportunities; attendees should contact the organisers to confirm whether any portions of the program are free or offered as pay-what-you-can.

Organisers from the Women of the Valley collective and the church leadership, including Pastors Cam Hart and Ray Hart, say the event is part of a mission to help people “discover the abundant, exciting life that is possible,” reflecting the church’s stated vision. These types of local meetings are often used to help bridge the gap for services that are typically found in larger cities.

Residents who want to attend should contact the organisers to register or to ask about childcare and building accessibility. More information is available by calling the church office at (204) 734-9425 or by visiting the Solid Rock Church Swan River media channel (YouTube).
