The Town of Sylvan Lake has announced a road closure on 44 Street to accommodate a utility repair. The affected section of the street, located at 5008 44 Street, will be closed to traffic between 5027 and 5003 44 Street on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
This closure is part of ongoing maintenance efforts across the community, as the town works to upgrade water and wastewater infrastructure that is more than 35 years old. Similar utility and sewer main repairs have already resulted in temporary road closures in other parts of Sylvan Lake during late March and early April of this year.
