The Town of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, is looking for seasonal workers to fill several roles across the community before the busy summer season begins. Positions are open for parks maintenance, bylaw enforcement, and the local skate park, with application deadlines set between April 8, 2026, and April 12, 2026.
The town is currently seeking three Community Bylaw Officers who will earn $27.35 per hour to help with parking and public education in the downtown area. These roles are specifically aimed at students in their first or second year of justice or criminal justice studies. There is also one opening for an Environmental Services Labourer to assist with water and sewer infrastructure through December 2026.
Two Skate Park Ambassadors are needed to work at the facility in Four Seasons Park. These employees will earn $21.56 per hour while helping run events like Build Your Own Deck Day and keeping the area clean by waxing rails and removing litter. There is also a chance for these workers to stay on as program assistants once the summer ends.
Multiple Parks Labourers will also be hired to take care of local campgrounds, playgrounds, and sports fields. These staff members will earn $18.79 per hour for tasks like mowing grass, controlling weeds, and cleaning public washrooms from May 5 to September 7, 2026.
All applicants must be authorized to work in Canada and provide a clean criminal record check from the RCMP. The town also offers other ways for residents to stay active in the community through its Volunteer Centre and Youth Programs and Services department.
