Landmark Collegiate’s varsity boys basketball team earned a 58–37 victory over the Ross L. Gray Raiders on February 2, 2026, at Collège Lorette Collegiate in Lorette (Rural Municipality of Taché), Manitoba.

The win is a major achievement for Landmark because the Raiders — the program from Sprague — have a long history of success, including multiple provincial championships (the Ross L. Gray teams are recorded as winning eight MHSAA provincial titles historically). Landmark’s players used a powerful defense to hold Sprague to just 37 points, finishing with a 21-point margin.

The game was listed as an exhibition on the Basketball Manitoba Rogers Scoreboard, though the result is expected to help Landmark’s standing as rankings and zone playoff seeding are updated heading into the regional playoffs and provincial championships.

Landmark Collegiate has been steadily developing its athletic programs and a culture focused on problem solving and student resilience in recent years; this win is a sign that the efforts of students and coaches are paying off as the season reaches its most important stretch.
