The Taché Game and Fish Association is holding its annual fundraising banquet on April 10, 2026, to support wildlife conservation and outdoor activities in Taché, Manitoba. The community event brings residents together to raise money for local nature projects and habitat protection.
The evening will include a dinner, silent auctions and raffles, with proceeds earmarked for regional efforts such as habitat restoration along the Seine River corridor. These funds also support the Taché Game and Fish Association’s outdoor education programs for local youth.
As the RM of Taché sees more residential growth, the group works to ensure that local green spaces and wildlife areas are not lost to new housing developments. The association is an affiliate club of the Manitoba Wildlife Federation, which has represented the interests of hunters and anglers across the province since 1944.
Residents can participate by purchasing tickets to the event or sponsoring tables. In addition to raising money, the banquet serves as a meeting place for the community to discuss outdoor safety and provincial rules regarding local wildlife and land use.
