Organizers of the Ste. Anne Summer Market are inviting business owners and crafters from the Rural Municipality (RM) of Taché, Manitoba, to apply for vendor spots for the 2026 summer season. The weekly market is looking for more local entrepreneurs to join the event, which features fresh food, handmade items and live music.

The market is run by the Ste. Anne Lions Club and will take place Wednesdays from June through September, typically from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Located at 183 Central Avenue in Ste. Anne, the event is a regular community draw and typically attracts an estimated 300–600 visitors per Wednesday, offering a place for farmers and makers to sell goods directly to the community.

Local business owners in the RM of Taché can get extra help through the Manitoba Southeast Commerce Group. That organization promotes the Chamber Market eCommerce platform, which helps new vendors set up an online storefront alongside their physical booth and provides other digital and logistical support for first-time sellers.

Market coordinator Pam Ottava (Ste. Anne Lions Club) told SteinbachOnline the market is run on a non-profit basis to give back to the local area: “We do it for the community…we do this all as a non-profit, just a way to give back to the community.” People interested in a spot for the 2026 season should request an application by emailing steannesummermarket@gmail.com. Organizers say they typically review first-round applications in late March, so early requests are encouraged.
