St. Clair College has expanded its continuing education program for the Spring 2026 semester, introducing more than 30 new courses designed to help residents in Tecumseh and the wider Windsor-Essex region gain new skills for the modern workforce.
The college is now offering 132 courses across its campuses. These new additions cover a range of professional and personal development topics, including a significant focus on artificial intelligence, manufacturing, legal office skills, and healthcare.
The artificial intelligence series features six new courses, such as prompt engineering, AI for marketing, and AI for human resources. Recognizing the importance of the manufacturing sector in Windsor-Essex, the college has also added six new specialized courses, including process improvement and supervisory responsibilities in manufacturing. These programs complement the hands-on training available at the college’s 100,000-square-foot Ford Centre for Excellence in Manufacturing.
In the healthcare field, the college has introduced a new transition program for internationally educated nurses, which is approved by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Other new healthcare-related offerings include courses in dental and veterinary office skills.
Additional new classes for the spring include sign language, construction planning, and financial planning. Tina Papac, director of continuing education and corporate training, oversees these programs.
