The Essex County OPP charged a 20-year-old man with impaired driving in Tecumseh, Ontario, following a traffic stop in the early hours of Friday, February 13, 2026. The Tecumseh man was stopped by officers around 1:45 a.m. on Bedell Street. Following the impaired driving charge, he received an immediate 90-day licence suspension and had his vehicle impounded for seven days. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor in March.
