The Pas Tri-Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2026 grant programs to help fund local projects in The Pas, Manitoba. Funding is available for registered charities and community groups serving The Pas, Opaskwayak Cree Nation and the Rural Municipality of Kelsey.

The foundation’s granting capacity was boosted by a $100,000 contribution from the Haukaas family and Twin Motors during the 2024–25 fiscal year. That infusion increased the Foundation’s endowment and overall ability to support community projects, though the Community Unrestricted Fund’s current maximum grant is $1,500 per project.

Applications for the Community Unrestricted Fund are open Jan. 1 to Feb. 15, 2026; the Foundation’s Moffat Family Fund grant has a separate deadline of March 6, 2026. Interested organizations should submit requests through the foundation’s online grants page and application portal; successful applicants are typically announced in the spring.

According to a report by The Pas Online, foundation leaders are prioritizing projects that strengthen community resilience and deliver long-term benefits to residents. The Pas Tri-Community Foundation has historically supported a range of initiatives, including upgrades to park and recreation facilities, medical equipment for the regional health complex, and literacy and reading programs for local students.

Organizations seeking funding can find application forms and full grant guidelines on the Foundation’s website at tptcf.ca.
