The Pas Minor Hockey Association (TPMHA) has posted the mandatory three-step process for its upcoming 2025–2026 season registration, advising families to prepare necessary documentation and accounts even though the registration portal is currently closed.
The requirements align with Hockey Manitoba and Hockey Canada mandates, emphasizing compliance with safety and registration standards.
Mandatory Registration Steps
TPMHA’s registration page lists three non-negotiable requirements that families must complete:
-
Respect in Sport for Parents Certification: Required for households registering new players. This course is a one-time household step for returning families. Hockey Manitoba requires this certification for at least one parent or guardian on a roster by November 1.

-
Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) Account Creation: Required for every individual who will appear on team rosters.

-
Completion of Registration and Payment: This will be done through the SportsEngine platform once the portal opens.
Payment Requirements and Eligibility
TPMHA has outlined a specific payment schedule tied to player eligibility:
-
Payment Plan: 50% due at registration, followed by two 25% instalments on October 1 and November 1.
-
Eligibility Rule: The initial 50% payment must be made for a player to be allowed on the ice.
This payment requirement affects the finalization of rosters, which in turn determines the amount of ice time TPMHA requests at the Roy H. Johnston Arena and how volunteers are scheduled. The association reminds families that sponsored players must also submit the initial 50% payment to be eligible to play.
