The Pas Minor Hockey Association is looking for community members to fill eight leadership roles during its annual general meeting on May 7, 2026, in The Pas, Manitoba.

The organization has served local youth for 92 years and is currently seeking a new vice president, treasurer, and referee in chief. Other open positions include coordinators for coaching, tournaments, and fundraising, as well as a registrar and a player advocate.

Current president Kevin Pettit noted that any proposed changes to the association’s official rules must be sent in by April 22, 2026. This search for fresh voices follows a successful winter where local teams won two provincial championships while playing out of the Kelsey Recreation Facilities.

The association is a member of the NorMan Regional Minor Hockey Association, which helps manage youth hockey across the northern region. The annual meeting to choose the new leaders will be held at the A&W Meeting Room.

Residents also have until March 25, 2026, to nominate someone for the Volunteer of the Year Award. Finding new board members is a priority as sports groups across Canada face a growing shortage of local volunteers.
