The Thunder Bay Police Service is investigating a homicide in the city’s south end after a person was found dead in the Hall Place area. Officers first arrived at the scene in Thunder Bay, Ontario, on the evening of March 1, 2026, and have been working in the neighbourhood since the discovery.
The investigation is currently being led by the Major Crime Unit as they look into the circumstances surrounding the death. Police have informed the community that they do not believe there is any immediate threat to public safety in relation to this incident.
Investigators are now asking for help from anyone who may have seen something unusual in the area. They are specifically looking for security camera or dashcam footage from the Walsh Street East corridor that was recorded on the night the incident occurred.
