On November 21, 2025, the Alexandra Hospital Foundation published its latest “Report to the Community,” highlighting a year of record-breaking fundraising and detailing how donor dollars are supporting local care at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.
The report notes that, since the formal launch of Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) in early October 2025, the foundation has transferred millions in donor-funded equipment and program support across both the Ingersoll and Tillsonburg sites. In January, the foundation approved nearly $300,000 to purchase new beds, monitors and diagnostic tools to support patient care, the report says.
At the Tillsonburg hospital, investments include ongoing support for the Hospital to Home transition program, which helps patients recover safely at home and eases pressure on acute-care beds. The foundation’s community reports also documented support for the opening of a 12-bed Transitional Care Unit in May 2025, a milestone project that offers short-term rehabilitation and step-down care for local residents.
“The support from our community ensures that Rural Roads Health Services can provide the care local people deserve, right here in our own backyard,” said Nadia Facca, President & CEO of Rural Roads Health Services — a line she used during the October 2025 RRHS launch and reiterated in foundation communications. A foundation statement included in the report said fundraising will continue to focus on equipping both hospitals “for the future” as community health needs grow. Robin Schultz is listed in foundation materials as Executive Director of the Foundations.
