The Town of Tillsonburg, Ontario, hosted a full day of free family programming on Monday, February 16, 2026. Large crowds visited the Tillsonburg Community Centre and the Annandale National Historic Site to take part in various recreational and cultural activities.
The event was made possible through the support of local businesses and organizations, which allowed all core activities to remain free for the public. Platinum sponsors for the day included Tim Hortons (Broadway), the Tillsonburg Lions Club, and Grassmere Construction Ltd.
From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Tillsonburg Community Centre offered a wide range of things to do. Families participated in ice skating, swimming, and dance classes, while children enjoyed magic shows, face painting, inflatables, and a mobile reptile zoo.
The Annandale National Historic Site hosted a special Woolly Family Day theme between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. This site featured an open house, a scavenger hunt, and themed crafts for visitors.
Additional support was provided by silver and bronze level sponsors, including Shaw’s Ice Cream, Shoppers Drug Mart, and CJDL Consulting Engineers. The Oxford County Library also partnered for the event to provide a pop-up Story Trail.
