The Tillsonburg Public Library in Tillsonburg, Ontario, is hosting a free movie screening and snack event for youth aged 12-18 on Saturday, February 14, 2026. The afternoon program gives local teenagers a low-cost social activity where they can watch the film Karate Kid: Legends starting at 1:30 p.m.

The movie will be shown at the library branch located at 2 Library Lane. While some library events require people to sign up in advance, the Oxford County Library calendar does not list a registration requirement for this screening, though families are encouraged to arrive early because room capacity is limited.

This event takes place as the Town of Tillsonburg runs a public survey to find out how the community can better support film and television productions. The town is seeking feedback from residents until March 13, 2026, as part of an effort to grow the local economy through the film industry.

According to event details, the library will provide free snacks for all teens who attend the movie. This program is part of the library’s work to serve a growing community, as the local population is expected to reach more than 22,000 people this year.
