The Timmins Festivals and Events Committee (TFEC) will unveil the Friday-night rock lineup for the 2026 Rock on the River festival on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. ET via the committee’s official social media channels.

The announcement will help residents and visitors plan for the summer event, which is scheduled for July 24–25, 2026, at Hollinger Park in Timmins. TFEC uses a two-day, genre-split format: Friday is designated as Rock and Saturday as Country, a model the festival has used since 2023.

Tickets are already listed on Eventbrite as part of a TFEC “blind pre-sale” that began in December 2025; additional ticketing tiers and public promotion typically follow the formal lineup announcement. The Timmins Festivals and Events Committee is a local non-profit, incorporated in May 2015 and founded by local residents to bring large musical events to the community.

Past festivals have drawn thousands of attendees per night—record-setting 2023 figures were roughly 3,000 for Friday and just over 3,100 for Saturday—helping fill local restaurants and hotels during the event weekend.

TFEC Chair John Olaveson said the committee has focused on booking acts requested by local fans. “This year’s lineup is exciting. We’ve worked tirelessly to bring in top-tier artists and bands that our fans have been requesting,” Olaveson said. He also noted the event faces cost pressures: “Hopefully it’s well received. There have been some struggles, such as the rising cost of everything.”
