Students from the Oak Bay High School choir will be delivering Love‑A‑Grams in View Royal, British Columbia this February as part of their annual Valentine’s Day fundraiser. These performances — small groups of singers visiting homes and businesses to perform a song for a friend or family member — are a long‑running Oak Bay tradition.

Each delivery includes a live song, one long‑stemmed rose, a box of chocolates and a personalized note. People can sign up through the Oak Bay Choir website or in person at the school office (Oak Bay High, 2121 Cadboro Bay Rd) until Feb. 10, 2026. The students will be making deliveries on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026.

This year the school is explicitly reaching out to the View Royal catchment, including neighbourhoods near Thetis Lake and Victoria General Hospital. Organizers say deliveries are to private residences, schools and businesses; deliveries to institutions such as hospitals or some workplaces may be subject to permission, and the choir is coordinating logistics to minimize student travel (the organizers have explored a public performance hub in View Royal to reduce travel time between stops).

View Royal is part of the Greater Victoria School District (SD61), and many families from surrounding neighbourhoods attend Oak Bay High as a school of choice — a factor that helped motivate this expanded outreach.

The money raised will help fund the choir’s 2026 concert tour (planned for Manitoba) and support the Senior Vocal Jazz group’s trip to a music festival later this year. The program is organized by the Oak Bay High School Choir under choral director Tina Horwood.
