The Durham Regional Police Service is searching for a man who robbed a pizza restaurant at knife-point in Whitby, Ontario, on March 7, 2026. Officers went to the Little Caesars at 965 Dundas Street West around 7:10 p.m. after receiving a report of an armed robbery.
The suspect reportedly walked into the business, showed a knife, and demanded money from the cash register. He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash before police arrived, but no employees were physically injured during the encounter.
Investigators describe the suspect as a Black man who is about 6-foot-2 to 6-foot-3 tall with a medium build. The Auto Robbery Crime Unit is currently leading the investigation and is working to identify the man.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on the night of the robbery to check their cell phone, surveillance, or dash cam footage.
