The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville has released its 2026 community events calendar to help residents and businesses plan for summer festivals and upcoming road work. This year’s lineup includes the return of long-running traditions like the Strawberry Festival and Ribfest, along with opportunities for the public to share feedback on the 2027 town budget.

The Stouffville Main Street 5k is set for June 21, 2026, with funds raised going to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. Runners must register by June 14, 2026, and the race will result in a full closure of Main Street from Mostar Street to Park Drive between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

According to the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, the annual Strawberry Festival will take place from June 26 to June 28, 2026. This will be followed by the Stouffville Ribfest, which is taking place from August 7 to August 9, 2026, at Memorial Park.

Municipal staff will also attend Symphony Under the Stars on July 17, 2026, and the Stouffville Market on August 15, 2026, to collect resident input for the 2027 town budget. These event dates were finalized to ensure community celebrations are finished before a major reconstruction project on Main Street begins in late 2026.
