The Whitecourt Trailblazers Snowmobile Club is hosting its Annual Family Snowmobile Rally in Whitecourt, Alberta, from February 13–14, 2026. The weekend event invites residents and visitors to explore hundreds of kilometres of groomed trails while supporting the community’s winter recreation and trail-maintenance efforts.
Participants can take part in organized, family-friendly rides across the club’s roughly 485‑kilometre trail network, which includes sections of the Golden Triangle loop. The region is widely recognized for its large volunteer-run trail system and its reputation as a top destination for winter recreation.
The rally includes an equipment raffle. The raffle’s main prize is a 2026 Skidoo Summit X (valued at $25,994); an early-bird sled-deck prize is also listed (valued at $6,960). According to the Whitecourt Trailblazers’ official event listing, the raffle’s main draw is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at the Westward Community Centre.
Money raised from the club raffle will help maintain and upgrade the Trailblazers’ cabins, lookouts, staging areas and trails. Separately, Alberta Snowmobile Association (ASA) trail passes and memberships contribute to grooming and maintaining the broader provincial trail network.
Founded in 1979, the Whitecourt Trailblazers now manage one of the largest snowmobile trail networks in Alberta. The Annual Family Rally is a key community event that brings families together, supports local businesses and showcases the town’s winter recreation infrastructure.
