The Whitecourt & District Chamber of Commerce has opened vendor registrations for its 2026 Trade Fair, which will take place this spring in Whitecourt, Alberta. The annual event gives business owners a chance to set up booths and meet residents face-to-face to talk about their products and services.

Organizers are aiming to fill more than 100 booth spaces at JDA Place, the venue many residents still know as the Scott Safety Centre at 72 Sunset Blvd. The fair will feature a mix of indoor displays and large outdoor areas for businesses that sell larger items, including motorized equipment.

This year’s showcase is especially important because Whitecourt will also host the 2026 Alberta Chambers of Commerce Annual General Meeting later in the year. “As hosts of the 2026 ACC AGM, we are excited to showcase the vibrant and growing community of Whitecourt,” said Alyssa Calliou, executive director of the Whitecourt & District Chamber of Commerce.

The trade fair has been a staple in the community for more than 35 years and often includes food vendors, live music and activities for families. The Whitecourt Star has reported on the chamber’s leadership and its work to support local businesses; the trade fair is one of the Chamber’s key events used to help entrepreneurs find customers and grow their businesses.

While organizers have not yet confirmed an official schedule, the fair is traditionally held over Mother’s Day weekend and is expected for May 8–10, 2026. Local business owners who want to participate can register via the Chamber’s official vendor registration portal or contact the chamber for registration details.
