The Woodstock Art Gallery is hosting a free community event with art projects and story time on Monday, February 16, 2026, in Woodstock, Ontario. This drop-in session is designed for people of all ages to celebrate the Family Day holiday through creative activities.
The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the gallery located at 449 Dundas Street. Local families can participate in self-directed art activities and storytime (presented in partnership with the Woodstock Public Library) without needing to register in advance. This provides a low-cost indoor option for caregivers looking for activities during the February holiday.
This year’s programming follows a significant expansion of the facility’s creative spaces. Federal funding of more than $940,000 from the Government of Canada (through the Green and Inclusive Community Buildings program) helped the gallery grow its capacity for hands-on art education and community workshops.
The City of Woodstock oversees the gallery as part of its Cultural Services. These holiday activities are part of an ongoing effort to make local art and culture accessible to all residents in the community.
