The Woodstock City Council is holding a voting meeting at City Hall on February 9, 2026, to decide on community updates and local spending. This session in Woodstock, Ontario, will focus on how the city manages its daily services and neighbourhood projects for the year.
Council members are moving forward with deliberations on the 2026 Revenue Fund (Operating) Budget after recently approving the 2026 Capital Budget (about $38.56 million). The operating budget will determine funding for city staff, regular maintenance, and final service levels for the remainder of the council’s 2022–2026 term.
The meeting may also consider items related to downtown revitalization and changes to local recycling services. Some of those service decisions involve coordination with Oxford County, which approved a $406.1 million 2026 Business Plan and Budget and is responsible for regional services including water/wastewater and county roads.
The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall (500 Dundas Street). Residents can attend in person or watch the meeting livestreamed on the City of Woodstock’s YouTube channel. Mayor Jerry Acchione has said (in recent Heart FM interviews) that the council aims to maintain open communication with the public as it enters the final year of its current term.
