The Yorkton RCMP is asking for help from the community to find an escaped prisoner who was last seen in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, on March 10, 2026. Jefferson Jobb was spotted on Broadway Street around 1:00 p.m., and police received a report that he had escaped about 30 minutes later.
Jobb is described as 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 245 pounds, with visible tattoos on his face and neck. He was serving a sentence at the Whitespruce Provincial Training Centre, a correctional facility located near the city, before he was reported missing.
Police consider this a serious safety matter and are telling the public not to go near Jobb if they see him. Instead, residents should contact the police immediately to report any sightings or information that could help officers locate him.
