The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce in Saskatchewan officially closed applications for the 2026 Celebrate Success Business Awards at noon on March 20, 2026. The deadline had been moved from its original date of March 17 to allow local business owners more time to finish their submissions.
A total of 15 awards will be presented this year to highlight success in various local industries. These categories include Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, and awards for Young Entrepreneur and Community Merit.
An independent judging panel will now begin the process of reviewing the application packages. They are responsible for selecting the finalists and the winners for each category before the official celebration takes place.
The awards dinner is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, 2026, where the local business community will gather to hear the results. Baker Tilly SK LLP has returned as the patron sponsor for the event, which has been held every two years since at least 2006.
Juanita Polegi, the executive director of the chamber, encouraged owners to use the awards as a form of inexpensive marketing for their companies. She stated that it costs nothing but time to apply and allows owners to tell the story of their business.
