The Yorkton Terriers defeated the Estevan Bruins 4–1 at Westland Arena on January 13, 2026, helping solidify their standing in the SJHL’s Bunge Division.

Tylan Henrikson opened the scoring late in the first period on the power play after a cross-ice feed from William Leonard. Aidan Vallance increased the lead midway through the second — pouncing on a rebound off a shot from Gavin Barth — before Estevan’s Rylan Williams pulled the Bruins within one late in the middle frame. Yorkton added two third-period goals from Ryder McDonald and Vinay Junek to seal the 4–1 win.

The Terriers scored on the power play (including Henrikson’s and Vallance’s goals) and, per team/game reporting, converted two of four power-play opportunities. Ryder McDonald was named the game’s sponsored recognition, the “Supplement King Gladiator of the Game,” for his physical play. Goaltender Callum Creig stopped 19 of 20 shots in the victory.

The win was Yorkton’s third over Estevan this season. According to recent SportsCage SJHL power rankings, the Terriers have been moving up in the provincial pecking order as the season continues.
