Goaltender Callum Creig stopped all 34 shots he faced to earn his 40th career win and second shutout of the season. According to the team, this achievement moves him into a tie for 10th place on the list for all-time wins in franchise history. Creig also leads the league with 23 wins for the 2025-26 regular season.
Forward Gabriel Courchesne scored the winning goal with a quick shot during a power play in the second period. This was the 29th goal of the season for Courchesne, while teammates Tyler Palin and Vinay Junek added two more goals to seal the win.
The evening served as a community fundraiser for TeleMiracle 50, a provincial event that supports people with medical and mobility needs. The Kinsmen Club of Yorkton organized the event to help the annual telethon, which will be broadcast from Saskatoon starting on February 28, 2026.
