The Beaumont & District Agricultural Society has announced that the annual Town & Country Curling Bonspiel will take place from November 13 to November 15, 2026, in Beaumont, Alberta. This community event brings local curlers together for a weekend of competition and social activities to mark the end of the autumn season.
The bonspiel will be held at the Beaumont Curling Club, which is a six-sheet facility located within the Ken Nichol Regional Recreation Centre. Organizers have set the dates early to give local teams and club members plenty of time to manage ice bookings and coordinate travel plans for the busy winter sporting schedule.
This event follows the 2025 edition, which the society described as a major success for the region. The competition serves as a link between the agricultural society and the local sporting community, providing a way for residents to connect at a curling club that has served as a social hub for the area for decades.
The Beaumont & District Agricultural Society is currently recruiting volunteers and planning team members to help manage the 2026 bonspiel. Local residents who want to get involved are encouraged to contact the society to join the planning team and assist with the weekend preparations.
