Residents in Burlington, Ontario, are currently taking part in the final weeks of the winter 2026 recreation season after signing up for activities late last year. The City of Burlington made these programs available for public viewing in late 2025 to help families plan their winter routines.
Registration for the various winter activities took place in December 2025. Sign-ups for adult programs opened first on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 7 a.m.
Following the adult programs, registration for swimming lessons and March Break camps opened on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 9 a.m. These sessions allowed residents to secure their spots in popular community activities well before the winter months began.
The City of Burlington Parks and Recreation Department oversees these programs to ensure residents have access to local facilities and active living options. As the winter season comes to a close, the city typically begins preparing for the next round of community activities for the spring and summer.
