A power outage left parts of Quispamsis, New Brunswick, without electricity starting on the evening of March 8, 2026, and lasting through much of the next day. The disruption affected local residents, who were left waiting for updates on when their service would return.

By the evening of March 9, 2026, many people reported they were still without power for an extended period. Members of the Rothesay-Quispamsis Community Network used social media to track the situation and share information, noting a lack of clear restoration timelines from the utility company.

The provincial utility, NB Power, managed the repairs throughout the event. While the company did not provide a definitive restoration time during the peak of the disruption, the electrical system was reported as operational again by March 10, 2026.
