Quispamsis, New Brunswick, residents can cap off the long weekend with a free, family-friendly New Brunswick Day celebration at the Arts & Culture Park on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The Town of Quispamsis is putting on the event at 12 Landing Court, next to Town Hall. It will include live music, games for all ages, and a chance to win a prize. If rain rolls in, the party moves indoors to the McCluskey Brothers Conference Centre at the qplex, 20 Randy Jones Way.
This is one of the first big public events for newly sworn-in Mayor Mary Schryer, who took office on May 25, 2026, after running unopposed in the local election.
Live music comes from Farraige, a Celtic trio based in nearby Saint John. The band is known for playing festivals and celebrations across the region. Activities throughout the evening give attendees a shot at a $20 gift card to the Great Canadian Dollar Store, a company with its headquarters right here in Quispamsis.
The Arts & Culture Park is a popular gathering spot that hosts Canada Day and the town’s summer series. Town Hall itself will be closed on Monday for the holiday. More details about the celebration can be found on the town’s website.
