Brandon Firefighters in Brandon, Manitoba, are camping out on a building rooftop from March 10 to March 13, 2026, to collect donations for several community organizations.
This four-day event follows a model that supports three main causes: the Cerebral Palsy Association of Manitoba, Muscular Dystrophy Canada, and the Brandon Firefighters Charity Fund. The firefighters use the visible station rooftop to engage with the public and encourage community support.
Residents can contribute to the fundraiser by visiting the site in person to donate or by sending an e-transfer. All the money raised stays within the province to provide direct help for individuals and families in the Westman region who are living with health challenges.
The rooftop campout is a local tradition that has been running for about ten years. It allows local first responders to connect with their neighbors while raising the critical funds needed to support those managing neuromuscular and cerebral palsy-related conditions.
