The Bridget’s Bunnies Pregnancy and Infant Loss Foundation is currently looking for volunteers in Barrie, Ontario, to knit or crochet stuffed bunnies for families who have lost a baby. This volunteer effort helps the charity maintain a steady supply of items for its comfort kits, which are given to parents and siblings navigating loss throughout Simcoe and Muskoka.
Participants, known as Bunny Makers, have the choice to craft the toys from their own homes or attend monthly group meetings. These in-person gatherings take place at the foundation’s office, located at 65 Cedar Pointe Drive, unit 811A.
To make it easy for residents to help, the charity provides all the necessary materials to the volunteers at no cost. This program offers a way for local crafters to provide tangible support to neighbors who are going through a difficult time.
