The Beausejour Citizens on Patrol will hold an annual general meeting and public information session in Beausejour, Manitoba, on March 27, 2026, at 7:15 p.m. to provide residents with updates on local safety efforts and neighbourhood watch opportunities.
The group serves as the “eyes and ears” for the community by watching for and reporting suspicious activities to the Town of Beausejour and the RCMP. These volunteers focus on preventing crime through visibility and do not get involved in direct confrontations.
Since 1991, the Manitoba Citizens on Patrol Program has been used as a proven way to improve safety across the province. The Beausejour chapter is an official community organization that works to keep the town safe through education and awareness.
Residents who attend the meeting can learn how to get involved in local watch efforts and hear about recent patrol activities. The session is designed to help neighbours work together with law enforcement to protect their community.
