The Waterloo Regional Police Service is asking for the public’s help to identify a man following a suspicious fire at a local business on March 15, 2026. The incident happened in the area of Bridgeport Road East and Weber Street North in Waterloo, Ontario.
Members of Waterloo Fire Rescue were called to the scene on the night of the fire and were able to put out the flames. Officials confirmed that there were no physical injuries reported as a result of the blaze.
The investigation is currently being led by the General Investigations Unit. Police have shared an image of a male person of interest and are looking to speak with him regarding the case, which is listed under file number WA26038420.
Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information about the event is asked to reach out to the police. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers for residents who prefer not to leave their contact details.
