On Saturday, March 28, 2026, the Town of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, will co-host a day dedicated to supporting local farmers and helping new farming businesses get started. The event, known as Agriculture Day, brings together community members and experts to talk about the future of food production in the region.
The gathering will take place at the Best Western Plus Hotel & Convention Centre and is organized by the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg along with the Town of Bridgewater, the Municipality of Chester, and the Region of Queens Municipality. Provincial partners including the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and Invest Nova Scotia are also supporting the program.
