The 5th annual Harvest Moon Music Festival returns to Pijinuiskaq Park in downtown Bridgewater on September 18-19, 2026, bringing two days of free music, youth activities, and fireworks to the riverside venue.
Presented by Arby’s Bridgewater and the Town of Bridgewater, the festival’s Saturday night lineup on the Michelin Bridgewater Main Stage features Juno Award-winning Halifax duo Neon Dreams, with special guest Booshle G. and an opening set from Canada’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer recipient DeeDee Austin.
Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m., the South Shore Centre Stage will showcase local artists including Talel McBriar, Emma Worley, Claire Hunter, Diggin’ Up Grubs, and HIRTLE.
Saturday’s programming begins with the Buchanans of Music Youth Stage from 2 to 4 p.m. along with a youth market. A ceremony honouring Pijinuiskaq Park takes place at 5:30 p.m., followed by DeeDee Austin at 6 p.m. and Neon Dreams with Booshle G. at 7 p.m. The festival concludes with fireworks at sunset, scheduled for 8:15 p.m.
Pijinuiskaq Park, believed to be the first public space in Bridgewater to bear a Mi’kmaw name, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year along the LaHave River in the heart of downtown. Festival-goers can arrive by boat and anchor near the main stage or enjoy dinner and drinks at downtown businesses before heading to the park.
