Fort Saskatchewan Youth Basketball will host the Fort Court Queens Girls Youth 3X3 Basketball Tournament from April 24 to April 25, 2026, offering female athletes a critical pathway to provincial championships. The games will take place in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, at the Dow Centennial Centre and various local school gyms.
Teams can register for the U13 or U18 divisions, with registration remaining open through mid-April 2026. The tournament is designed to provide high-level competition for young athletes while keeping qualifying opportunities within the region.
The City of Fort Saskatchewan awarded the tournament a $3,000 tourism hosting grant, identifying it as one of three major events supported by the municipality for the 2026 calendar year. Organizers developed the event in coordination with Basketball Alberta to help players qualify for provincial championships without having to travel to larger urban centers.
