The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a violent home invasion that happened early Wednesday morning in a residential neighbourhood in Milton, Ontario. At around 2:45 a.m. on March 18, 2026, five men wearing face coverings forced their way into a home near Rose Way and Wellwood Terrace.
A woman who was inside the house during the incident was assaulted by the suspects. The group of men fled the scene shortly after the intrusion took place.
Officers are now asking residents and business owners in the area to review their security cameras or dash-cam footage for anything helpful. Information can be shared directly with the police to assist with the ongoing investigation.
This event has caused concern for local residents following other recent crimes in the region, including a shooting in Milton earlier in February 2026. As of March 19, 2026, the five male suspects remain at large and have not yet been identified.
