The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce is hosting a workshop on May 14, 2026, to help local charities and service groups coordinate their efforts to better serve residents in Steinbach, Manitoba.
The event, called 2026 Collective Impact – Non-profits at the Table, will take place at Smitty’s Family Restaurant in the banquet room from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. This meeting allows local leaders to step away from their daily work to talk about long-term goals and ways to help the community thrive during rapid growth.
A panel of local experts will lead the conversation, including Jo-Anne Dalton from the Steinbach Family Resource Centre and Jeannette DeLong from enVision Community Living. Rueben Singh from Youth for Christ Steinbach and Ken Dyck from South East Helping Hands will also share their insights on regional needs.
The session will focus on common challenges such as finding enough volunteers, dealing with funding changes, and managing leadership shifts within organizations. By working together, these groups aim to improve how they provide essential services like food support and youth programs to local families.
