Mayor Marianne Meed Ward will host a town hall meeting for Ward 5 residents in Burlington, Ontario, on March 25, 2026. The event will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the New Appleby Library Branch.
This is the second town hall for the area and will include Ward 5 Councillor Paul Sharman and Ward 4 Councillor Shawna Stolte. Local residents are invited to share their concerns and receive updates on city matters directly from their local representatives.
The New Appleby Library Branch is located at 5151 New Street inside the Robert Bateman Community Centre. The facility opened in late 2025 and is three times larger than the previous library location, offering more space for community events.
The meeting comes as the area sees several large building projects, including the Bronte Creek Meadows development which proposes nearly 600 new homes. Other topics may include the 2026 budget and ongoing efforts by the City of Burlington to increase the local housing supply.
