The City of Colwood and local community groups are hosting an Easter celebration in Colwood, British Columbia, on April 4, 2026. The event takes place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Meadow Park in the Royal Bay neighbourhood and will feature egg hunts for children of all ages.
Children will be split into two groups for the hunt, one for those aged four and under and another for those aged five and up. Participants can also search for four special Benson Golden Easter Eggs, which can be traded in for prizes from the Easter Bunny. Families are asked to bring their own bags or baskets and can start lining up at the Latoria Boulevard entrance at 10:15 AM.
After the hunt, the event will offer music, cookie decorating, snacks, and bouncy obstacles for kids. This annual celebration is supported by West Shore Parks & Recreation along with local businesses. This year’s main sponsors include Benson Cabinetry + Millwork and Ron Anderson & Sons Ltd.
This gathering has become a regular tradition for the local community, which was built on the site of a former industrial gravel pit. As the area continues to grow, these events provide a way for neighbours to connect in the seaside area.
